Protect & Preserve Hawai’i

What We Do

We provide biocultural education through land stewardship and promote sustainable lifestyle options for the community. All of our events feature diverse guest speakers who teach volunteers about the importance of cultural history, native ecosystems, watersheds, and biodiversity. They help to guide our larger volunteer base in restoration efforts, and ensure that all work is scientifically rigorous and implements the best-known practices.

Who We Are

Protect and Preserve Hawai’i (PPH) is a community-based conservation group with a mission to restore 330 acres of forested conservation land in Pia Valley to improve the health & resilience of the entire ecosystem including the people who live in it. Here at Protect & Preserve Hawai’i, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all. Giving back to our lands and raising awareness through education in our communities. From mauka to makai, taking action towards sustainability through conservation efforts, and protecting Hawaii’s native ecosystem along with its cultural heritage
