What We Do

Our mission is to restore the health of the Wai’anae Mountain ecosystem at Pālehua. We work to preserve and protect the land’s important biological, cultural, economic and historical resources.

Who We Are

Gill ‘Ewa Lands encompasses 1,600 acres in the southern tip of the Wai’anae mountains on O’ahu, stretching from the ocean at Manners Beach to the peak of Mauna Kapu.

Its unique recreational resources include the the facilities of Camp Pālehua (formerly Camp Timberline), which offer opportunities for outdoor adventure and environmental education.

The property also supports agricultural enterprises such as ranching, nursery operations and silviculture. Its conservation lands hold the promise of reforestation with native Hawaiian species.

The lofty ridges are prime locations for telecommunication towers.
