Oʻahu Invasive Species Committee
What We Do
OISC works to prevent the establishment of new alien pests, controls incipient pests on public and private land, and educates the community about the threats of invasive species and what they can do to help.
Who We Are
The Oʻahu Invasive Species Committee (OISC) is a University of Hawaiʻi-Pacific Cooperative Studies Unit project. We are a partnership of state, federal, and private agencies united to protect Oʻahu from the most harmful invasive plants and animals that threaten our environment, economy, and human health.
