Molokaʻi Land Trust
What We Do
The mission of the Molokaʻi Land Trust is to protect and restore the land, natural and cultural resources of Molokaʻi, and to promote, educate, and perpetuate the unique Native Hawaiian traditions and character of the islands for the benefit of the future generations of all Molokaʻi, particularly Native Hawaiians.
Who We Are
Although there are many important principles that guide our work, the Molokaʻi Land Trust emphasizes the following values as core to our efforts:
- Molokaʻi Nui A Hina: reverence and love for Molokaʻi’s people and the land.
- Molokaʻi Pule Oʻo: strength in mission through prayer, training and education.
- Molokaʻi ʻĀina Momona: promotion and practicing of sustainable land use practices.
- Molokaʻi No Ka Heke: remaining true to core Hawaiian values while embracing new technologies and ideas.
