What We Do
Maui AIDS Foundation provides the following services to the community

A partner of the Maui Police Department on their Mobile Medical Educational Unit (MMEU), providing free testing, prevention education, Hep-C hygiene kits, support, and linkage to care every Monday across Maui County. This program meets our most vulnerable populations who do not have access to care. Donate a hygiene kit

Free clinical testing promoting sexual health such as HIV, Hepatitis-C (HCV) and Syphilis, Chlamydia, and Gonorrhea STI Facts

Comprehensive Case Management for HIV positive individuals including medical insurance enrollment, on-site food pantry, housing assistance, linkage to medical care, dental care, medications, and more

MAF is now offering injectable PreP, given every two months rather than the daily pill – an important tool in effort to end the HIV Epidemic LEARN MORE from the FDA

Health insurance enrollment (year-round consultations) make an appointment

Resources and support groups for Mahu and Transgender individuals

Linkage to mental health services and suicide prevention

Community outreach

HIV 101 and cultural competency trainings (including Maui Police Department and other community partners)

Referral system for victims of domestic violence

Free testing and education for inmates in MCCC, Maui Community Correctional Center, through our Corrections Program

A Partner of the Ma’i Movement Hawaii providing sanitary products for those in need

Collaboration with Hawaii Department of Health (DOH) for administration of Hepatitis A and B vaccinations

Who We Are
Maui AIDS Foundation (MAF) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) health and social service organization always striving to meet the needs of the Maui County community including but not limited to serving: those incarcerated, those living with Hepatitis and other STIs, people living with HIV, substance use, LGBTQIA+ and Mahu populations, women at-risk and others at-risk, Native Hawaiian communities, and mental illness by promoting wellness and enhancing their quality of life.
