Weed the Stream at Makiki Valley State Recreation Area

State Parks Curator Aina Wellness Academy (AWA) is having an “Aloha Aina – Weed the Stream” Earth Day Event on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Makiki Valley State Recreation Area from 8:00am to 12:00pm.
Join the Makiki Valley watershed partners; Hawaii Nature Center, Division of Forestry and Wildlife, Maunalaha Residents, Halau Ku Mana, Hana Hauoli, Punahou School, along with State Parks Curators Aina Wellness Academy on Earth Day, as they Aloha ʻĀina and Weed the Stream! Enjoy end of hana entertainment, native plants, and a fundraising pop-up for all volunteers/participants!
