Waihe`e Coastal Dunes Refuge Firebreak Debris Removal

Hawaiian Islands Land Trust and Malama Maui Nui are partnering to clear debris from an area of the Waihe`e Coastal Dunes Refuge to create a firebreak for the residents of the Waiehu and Waihe`e communities. The event will focus on removing applicances, metal, construction waste, e-waste, tires, batteries and abandoned vehicles. We are seeking volunteers for this two day event. Dates: April 2 and 3, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Volunteers are asked to sign up for 2 hour shifts, 8 a.m., 10 a.m. and 12 noon.
