Learn more: https://olelo.org/Volunteer Responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering all incoming calls and referring calls to appropriate staff members, sorting mail, preparing shipping labels, Directing guests, Keeping the office tidy and presentable, and Other duties as assigned.Monday-Friday from 8:30/9:00am to 12:00pm.Monday-Friday from 12:00pm to 4:00pm.Monday-Friday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.Additional Requirements:Face Masks, Read and write to a reasonable levelRelate well to the public and communicate clearlyPatience with those who are unable to communicate clearly or less confidentRepresent Olelo in a professional mannerAble to work according to volunteer policies and proceduresPass Background Check

Our mission is to strengthen our island voices and advance community engagement through innovative media. ‘Ōlelo provides access to media training, production facilities, and air time on our cable and online outlets to deliver non-commercial programming – without the costs and constraints of traditional television. Guided by our core values of teamwork, integrity, and aloha, we facilitate meaningful dialogue and increased participation in civic life. Our neighborhood-based Media Service Centers (MSCs) provide convenient access to our services across Oʻahu. Each MSC is committed to providing all members of the community an accessible and welcoming environment to create and distribute media. Whether you live on the Waiʻanae Coast, North Shore, Windward side or East Honolulu there is a media center near you.
