Volunteer for RMHC Golf Tournament

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Hawaii

Since opening our doors in 1987, Ronald McDonald House Charities Hawaii has been a source of comfort and care for nearly 15,000 families with seriously ill children seeking critical medical treatment on Oahu.

Our unwavering goal has always been to keep families together in a nurturing home-away-from-home, offering nutritious meals, transportation, and essential services in a community where vulnerable families can find hope, strength, and healing together.

Now in its 33rd year, the sold-out RMHC Golf Classic will welcome over 200 players for a day of fun, camaraderie, and friendly competition. Your support is incredibly meaningful to us and absolutely makes a difference! Can we count on you to join us?

We wanted to reach out to you and see if you are available to volunteer with us! We have four shifts available and would appreciate help during any of them.

The shifts are:
MORNING (7:30AM-11:30AM): Unpacking for course set up, golfer assistance, registration – FULL
AFTERNOON (10:00AM-7:00PM): Golfer assistance on course holes, conducting activities, volunteer relief
EVENING (4:30PM-8:00PM): Packing/cleaning, course break-down
DAY AFTER JULY 19TH (9:00AM-1:00PM) Unpacking truck

Your kindness will help lift the emotional and financial burdens of families in need. Their ability to focus on their child’s recovery relies on the generosity of compassionate individuals and community leaders like you.

We deeply value your thoughtful consideration. For more information, please feel free to contact Celeste Cambra at celeste@rmhchawaii.org

About the organizer

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Hawaii, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, created in 1987 to expand the positive impact of Hawaii’s Ronald McDonald House on the communities served. The House, which opened in 1987, has been and will always be RMHC-HI’s cornerstone program. The mission of RMHC-HI is to “provide a home-away-from-home for seriously ill children and their families, and to develop other programs and partnerships aimed at improving the lives of children in Hawaii and the Pacific.”RMHC-HI operates two facilities to assist families that have children with serious health conditions. These two residential facilities support those compelled to fly to Oahu for critical medical treatments not available on their home island. For many, an ocean literally separates them from their child’s desperately needed attention. This includes Hawaii’s Neighbor Islands, and other Pacific locals such as Guam, Saipan, Samoa and the Federated Sates of Micronesia. Lengths of stay vary widely at the overnight facilities depending on diagnosis but generally range from several days to several months. The overnight facilities strive to foster emotional, spiritual, and mental support to all who live within.
