Third Saturday Service Days at Lyon Arboretum

Lyon Arboretum

Every third Saturday of the month, the Arboretum Grounds Department invites the public to participate in a service day. The current area in need is a section of the Arboretum where koa trees have started to return. Help is needed to clear the area and pull weeds to allow the endemic koa trees to continue to grow and spread. If interested, please check out our website to sign up for the next work day. If you have never volunteered at the Arboretum, this is a good opportunity to see what we are about. You can also call Tylor Schwarze, our Arborist leading this project with any questions. (808) 988 – 0466 or email tis@hawaii.edu.Interested in participating in this event only?
