Marine Debris Management Day

Kalihi Beer

This is our first ever collaborative marine debris cleanup! Our team includes Kalihi Beer, Trees to Seas, Hawaiian Diving Adventures and Sea Grant all working together as part of a celebration of the Peter J. Rappa Fellowship which is funded through NOAA Sea Grant at the University of Hawai’i.

From 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM (or whenever we finish) we will be cleaning, sorting, weighing and recycling or upcycling marine debris collected at our cleanup event earlier in the morning. We will be working outside the brewery, so please arrive at Kalihi Beer with a hat, sunscreen, plenty of water, and a willingness to work hard to preserve our beautiful ocean. Everything else will be provided!

Note: Parking at Kalihi Beer is limited, plan on using street parking in the area and plan accordingly!
