Hānai ‘Āina Forest Restoration Workday
Waimea Valley (Oʻahu)

Join us for an adventure and help us restore the native forest on the ridge above Waimea Valley. Hānai ‘Āina workdays begin promptly at 9am with a 45 minute hike up the ridge. The group will return to the valley floor and complete the day at 3pm. Participants must be at least 16 years old. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Volunteers must be able to stay for the entire event. An RSVP is required.
Tasks may include: planting native species, invasive species control, mulching, and other related tasks.
Participants must commit to the entire time specified above.
Due to the remote location and the need for a hiking guide, leaving early is not an option.
