Help to Clean the Waters of the Ala Wai Canal

Waikiki Community Center and Kapiolani Community College Service and Sustainability Learning collaborate to support Genki Ala Wai to clean the waters of the Ala Wai Canal.

Join us and learn to make the genki balls (a bioremediation product) on Saturday, March 4 from 10 am to 1 pm, and join us in a ball throwing activity on Thurs. March 16th from 12:00 to 1:30 pm at the Ala Wai Canal (Kapahulu end).

Everyone of all ages is invited.  Children under 12 years must be accompanied.

The mission of the Waikiki Community Center is to serve Keiki, Kupuna, and the Community by providing pre-school programs for keiki; educational and active aging activities and resources for kupuna; social services referral programs for kupuna in need; and community engagement projects for the residents in the ahupua’a of Waikiki.
