2nd Sunday Volunteer Workday

Understory Alliance

Join us every 2nd Sunday from 9-11 am for an unforgettable volunteer workday with Understory Alliance at the breathtaking Kauaʻi Animal Education Farm. Get ready to roll up your sleeves, dig deep, and make a tangible impact on the beautiful island of Kauaʻi!

Our workday is packed with exciting activities aimed at restoring Kauaʻi’s diverse ecosystem. As a volunteer, you’ll be able to engage in hands-on conservation efforts such as removing invasive species, regenerative soil care, and planting native Hawaiian plants and food crops in Understory’s forest garden, our enchanting Mala Laʻau.

Be prepared to embrace nature’s elements, whether working under the hot sun or braving the refreshing rain. Expect to get dirty and immerse yourself in the real work of environmental stewardship. Remember to bring your trusty water bottle to stay hydrated during our thirsty work.

So, mark your calendars and be part of the Understory Alliance’s 2nd Sunday volunteer workday. Let’s make a difference on Kauaʻi, fostering a brighter, greener future for future generations. Join us, and let nature be your guide!
