Diamond Head State Monument: Care for the Crater
DLNR: State Parks: Diamond Head State Monument
Come to Diamond Head State Monument to help us care for the crater on every first Saturday of the month! We will be doing a variety of activities, like garden maintenance, invasive species removal, native species seed collecting and more! If that sounds like something you would be interested in, then join us for a fun-filled morning of hard work! This workday is open to friends of all ages. Please be sure to wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and bring water and sunscreen. Our mission at Diamond Head is to protect the park natural resources as well as to educate the public about our natural resources and history.Hawaiʻi is the most remote archipelago on earth. Our reputation for unsurpassed natural beauty is reflected in Hawaii’s State Parks.The Hawaiʻi State Park System is composed of 50 parks encompassing approximately 30,000 acres on five major islands. These parks offer a variety of outdoor recreation and heritage opportunities.
