Devil Weed Volunteer Surveys at Pūpūkea-Paumalū State Park Reserve


Oʻahu Invasive Species Committee

Volunteers will be hand-pulling invasive devil weed (Chromolaena odorata), and hiking along easy to moderate trails. Most of the trails are even and well-maintained, but there are some steep sections of the trail. Expect exposure to sun, heat, rain and mud, and mosquitoes. Volunteers should be physically fit and able to hike up to 4 miles at a slow to moderate pace. Volunteers that attend this event 3 times will recieve a free devil weed crew t-shirt!
