Coastal Cleanup April 19 Anahola Bay


Surfrider Foundation – Kauaʻi Chapter
Volunteer Week and Earth Day Coastal Cleanup Net Patrol at Anahola Bay.
Please join Surfrider Foundation on April 19 for a coastal cleanup with Aina Alliance We will be cleaning up Anahola Bay and the coastal area just south of there. Closed toed shoes are suggested to tackling the rocky coastline and land-based trash in the area south of Anahola Bay.
Please meet near the lifeguard tower at 3:15 cleanup will take place from 3:30 – 6pm
Surfider will provide gloves and tools need.

The Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of our world’s oceans, waves and beaches. Founded in 1984 by a handful of visionary surfers in Malibu, California, the Surfrider Foundation now maintains over 50,000 members and 90 chapters worldwide.The Kauaʻi Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation was founded in August 2006 by a small group of Kauaʻi’s active surfers who joined the national organization with its focus on CARE: Conservation, Activism, Research, and Education. We have an appetite for adventure and we all share a common passion – we love and appreciate our ocean, waves and beaches. We are an organization of committed volunteers.
