Beach Clean Up Volunteer


Come Join us along with Clean Rewards, Keep Puako Beautiful & The Ocean Conservancy at Old A’S Pavilion #1 this September 16 for Kona International Coastal Clean UP 2023!

What is International Coastal Cleanup Day? International Coastal Cleanup Day is the largest cleanup drive for beaches and coastlines. It was first celebrated in 1986 after President Proclamation No. 470 declared it to be observed on the third Sunday of every September. The objectives of the International Coastal Cleanup is to engage people around the world to remove trash and debris from beaches, waterways and other water bodies, to identify the sources of the litter, to change behaviors that causes pollution and to raise awareness on the extent of marine protection. We will be surveying al the debris and the information recorded will be use to change legislation and science.
