*Details: Parking/meeting spot at dropped pin. Meeting will be in the dirt parking lot, once gathered, we will walk out onto the shoreline.

Recommended meet at Bank of Hawaii Pukalani parking lot in Pukalani at 4am to carpool. Or come directly to Haleakala National Park.

6:00 a.m. on Midway Atoll (GMT-11) time (one hour behind Honolulu time). Possibly the last Earth Day Sunrise event hosted by humans? We will also be joined by over literally 1/2 billion birds including nunulu (Bonin petrels) and (Laysan albatross) and kapuu (black-footed albatross).

For earth day this year in Cape Town we will be hosting a zero waste to landfill beach cleanup where everything which is picked up is recycled . We will educate the youth of the communities in Cape Town about earth day at the beach cleanup and why it is important for us to protect the earth
