Hale Kau Kau

What We Do
The Hale Kau Kau mission is to: Alleviate hunger by providing nutritious meals to the hungry and the homebound in a loving, safe and supportive environment.
Who We Are
Hale Kau Kau welcomes the hungry and unconditionally serves free, hot and nutritious meals on site to 80 – 150 men, women and children who do not have the resources for the basic need for food. Meals are served from 5:00 to 6:00 in the afternoon on Monday through Friday and on Saturday and Sunday from 4:30 through 5:30 in the afternoon. In addition, Hale Kau Kau delivers meals to 70 – 105 homebound elderly, sick and disabled in South Maui every day. Also, through collaboration with Kealahou Church, Hale Kau Kau donates free food supplies for their distribution to 45 – 60 families or roughly 90 – 120 individuals every week.
