Badges and Buckets fundraiser for Special Olympics
Special Olympics Hawaii
Badges and Buckets is a 3-day, statewide, grassroots fundraiser, which raises awareness and resources, for local Special Olympics Hawaii athletes. Volunteers from local law enforcement agencies, along with the community members and Special Olympics athletes, will be collecting donations. 100% of the donations stay in Hawaii to provide year-round sports and programs to over 6,000 athletes an unified partners. Reach out to our Special Olympics Hawaii Team for more information on how to volunteer or make a contribution. Together we can a difference!!!! Watch as our dedicated volunteers take community service to new heights, literally, perched on a 10-foot scaffolds as well as our awesome ground crews!!!!

About the organizer
Special Olympics Hawaii provides year-round sports training and competitions, health, leadership, and inclusionary programs for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community. There is never a fee for any athlete or family to participate in Special Olympics Hawaii programs.
The ultimate goal of Special Olympics Hawaii is to help persons with intellectual disabilities participate as productive and respected members of society by offering them a fair opportunity to develop and demonstrate their skills and to increase the public’s awareness of their capabilities and needs.
