General Office Assistance
Helping Hands Hawaii
Helping Hands Hawaii is in need of volunteers who are compassionate, detail oriented, and able to work with computers to assist us in general office work. Volunteer interested in general office assistance will be greeting clients who come by our location or contact programs via phone, filing and shredding documents, conducting surveys, as well as some data entry.
Volunteers will be interviewed for these opportunities, must complete an application, and attend our orientation and trainings.
Requirements
- Complete volunteer application
- Background check
- Attend orientation and training
- Must be 18+
- Office volunteers must provide resume/CV
Expectations

- Absence: Minimum of 24-hour notice to allow for schedule/task readjustment for the day.
- Volunteering: Must commit 2+ hours per shift. To be considered a regular, volunteers must commit to 4 hours a week for two months or longer.
- Clothing: Business casual is preferred for office volunteers. Casual clothing is acceptable but should be tasteful and family friendly. Wear close toed tennis shoes. Pencil skirts and stilettos are NOT allowed.

- When we have company engagement activities, we love for our volunteers to be involved with the staff
