Plant A Tree
Hawaiian Legacy Reforestation Initiative
** Paid Experience $120
We each have a reason to plant a tree. Some of us plant because we want to see the forest grow; some of us plant to remember those who pass; and some of us plant to commemorate new life we’ve brought into our Ohana. Whatever your reason is to plant, please let us know what we can do to support your positive intentions.
Hawaiian Legacy Reforestation Initiative
About the organizer
Hawaiian Legacy Reforestation Initiative (HLRI) is redefining endemic/native forestry in Hawaii. Through cutting-edge technology, we differentiate ourselves by geo-tagging each tree, ensuring accountability. As the sole carbon-certified project in Hawaii (Gold Standard Certified in the US), we’re leading towards a carbon-neutral future. Our holistic approach addresses environmental challenges—wildlife conservation, air quality, erosion control, reef protection, watershed recharge, and green job creation. Beyond trees, we reshape eco-tourism in Hawaii and engage the community through eco-tours, education, and cultural initiatives. At HLRI, it’s not just about planting; it’s about cultivating a sustainable future for Hawaii.
