Museum Grounds Care
Alexander and Baldwin Sugar Museum
The Sugar Museum is a 1902 plantation home on a little patch of green in historic Puunene, Maui. We are seeking persons (or groups) to weed, prune, trim, rake and water our grounds.
This is a great opportunity for residents, or individuals and families visiting Maui, to give back to the community and learn about local history. Put in your earbuds and tune out while contributing to the care of the Sugar Museum, which is a community resource.
Days and times available are: Monday or Tuesday or Thursday, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Please inquire in advance if you would like to work on a Saturday.
Sturdy footwear is required. Bring your favorite hat and gloves. We have most tools here, but bring your own, if you wish. The grounds of the Sugar Museum are on uneven terrain, and the weather can be hot, windy, or both.
